Using ClipForMe
ClipForMe helps you import supported videos, find suggested clips, review scores, edit captions and framing, and export video files. The service is operated under the name ClipForMe.io. These terms cover clipforme.io and the ClipForMe application.
The service is still being developed. Access, supported sources, processing limits, storage, and features may change. A public video link does not guarantee that we can import it.
Access and accounts
Use only access provided to you. Keep account credentials and access links secure, and tell your ClipForMe contact if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not use another person's account or attempt to access their recordings.
If you use ClipForMe for a business or another person, you must have authority to do so. You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement, or the permission and involvement of a parent or guardian where applicable law allows.
Your videos and permissions
You retain the rights you hold in your uploaded videos and other content. You must own the content or have the rights and permissions needed to download, upload, record, process, edit, export, and share it, including any required permission from people featured in it. A publicly accessible recording is not automatically free to reuse.
You authorize ClipForMe and the service providers involved in your job to store, copy, transcribe, analyze, crop, caption, and render your content as needed to provide the service and your requested exports. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content or authorize us to use it in advertising.
Third-party videos, music, logos, and other materials remain subject to their owners' rights. You are responsible for obtaining any permission needed before publishing or sharing an export.
Acceptable use
Do not use ClipForMe for unlawful content, exploitation, harassment, impersonation, or infringement of privacy or intellectual-property rights. Do not bypass access restrictions, payment controls, source-platform restrictions, or technical limits.
Do not upload malicious files, interfere with the service, probe another user's data, or automate activity in a way that overloads the system. We may restrict processing or access to address misuse or a security risk.
Review AI results
AI-generated clips, captions, transcripts, titles, and scores can be incomplete or inaccurate. Review the words, timing, context, framing, and rights before exporting or publishing.
A Virality Score is an automated estimate, not a promise of views, engagement, revenue, or platform performance. ClipForMe does not guarantee a particular number or quality of usable clips.
Credits and subscriptions
Where paid plans or credit packs are offered, the checkout identifies the price, currency, included usage, and whether payment recurs. You authorize only the charges and renewal arrangements presented and accepted there. A development proposal or example is not an entitlement.
Before paid services become available, the purchase flow and updated terms must explain the price, currency, taxes, included usage, credit deductions, expiry, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules. These terms do not authorize a payment or recurring charge.
Availability and your files
Processing can be delayed or fail because of source availability, provider errors, workload, or maintenance. Keep your own copies of original recordings and download exports you want to retain. ClipForMe should not be your only archive.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. Any storage allowance or expiry displayed for your service applies to your files. Save your own copies before an applicable storage period ends.
Responsibility and disputes
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an as-available basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or error-free output. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Any dispute is subject to applicable law and the jurisdiction of competent courts. Nothing in these terms takes away mandatory protections or remedies available to you under the law that applies. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when the service or these terms change. Material changes, especially to paid usage or data handling, should be communicated before they apply. If a change requires renewed agreement, we will ask for it before you continue using the affected service.
